MidCentral COVID-19 Update #1 Friday 10 June 2022

There are 273 new cases of COVID-19 to report in the MidCentral rohe today, with 12 cases in Palmerston North Hospital.

COVID-19 Reporting Update

We are now in an endemic phase of the Omicron outbreak which means that the number and spread of new COVID-19 cases and cases in hospital is remaining steady. With this in mind, we will be moving to weekly reporting of new case numbers, cases in hospital, any deaths and a snapshot of how cases are spread around our region. This reporting will begin next Monday.

The Ministry of Health will continue to report daily on new cases, deaths and hospitalisations by region. You can find the daily report here after 1.30pm each day: https://bit.ly/MOHDailyReports

If there is a significant unexpected increase or decrease in cases, or cases increase substantially in one of our localities, we are committed to updating the community as soon as possible.
