What are the symptoms of COVID-19?

COVID-19 symptoms

Some of the symptoms of COVID-19 can be similar to cold and flu symptoms. These include:

  • a cough
  • shortness of breath
  • sore throat
  • a high temperature (at least 38°C)
  • sneezing and runny nose
  • temporary loss of smell

Keep in mind that just because you have these symptoms, it doesn't necessarily mean you have COVID-19.

If you have any questions, you can call the Healthline free on 0800 358 5453 (for international SIMs +64 9 358 5453). It is free and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will be able to speak with a member of the National Telehealth Service with access to interpreters.
